Cold room brought into regular warehouse use
The cold room next to the 242 m² warehouse has been running for a while, mostly as a buffer for the occasional sensitive delivery. As of this autumn it is part of standard intake: any material with a declared temperature requirement goes straight from the ramp into the cold room, logged like every other movement.
In practice that mostly means probiotic cultures and a handful of heat-sensitive raw materials. They wait for production at a controlled temperature, with checks recorded under the same DEKRA-certified HACCP system as everything else — not in the coolest corner of the general warehouse, which is how it is sometimes done.
If your formula has a cold chain, mention it in the brief. Intake, storage and the batch record will show it — your auditor will want to see that, and now there is something to show.
